The Langlade County Historical Society (LCHS) is an organization dedicated to preserving and communicating the history of Langlade County, both within the community and beyond, from the Wisconsin Glaciation to present times.

The LCHS maintains a museum campus in downtown Antigo along U.S. Route 45, which consists of a former Carnegie library that served as the town’s public library from 1905-1997, a steam train locomotive and caboose dating to the early 1900s, and the original log cabin of Antigo’s founder, Francis Deleglise, which was built in 1878. The museum building also hosts an extensive archive of local historical documents.

Additionally, the LCHS maintains a newsletter, educational program, and archives. It also collaborates with other community organizations to put on public events, such as the Langlade County Cemetery Tour.
