The Langlade County Historical Society is a nonprofit that relies entirely on donations and grants to survive. It has only one paid employee, the museum curator. We collaborate with other historical societies and organizations in Antigo and Langlade County, including Antigo Visual Arts, the Antigo Community Theatre, the Elcho Historical Society, the Antigo Public Library, the Langlade County Economic Development Corporation, and the White Lake Historical Society. A historical society of our size is truly special for a rural place like Langlade County, and we are dedicated to continuing and building upon our mission of preserving and presenting the history and culture of northeastern Wisconsin for as long as we can.
