200 Years of Information, Open to You!

The museum building is also home to an extensive archive of photos, documents, and books from throughout Langlade County’s history. These items are donated by members of the community. Any member of the public may walk in and utilize the archive for their own research or interests, so long as the materials are treated with respect. No archival materials may leave the building. Museum volunteers may also be available to assist you in your research. Limited assistance is also available via phone or email.

An index of archival material is maintained by the museum and can be searched on this website. Most of our photo collection has been digitized and uploaded to Recollection Wisconsin, where they can be sorted by subject.
